St. Vincent's 2026 Club Lotto and Super League Launch

I hope this newsletter finds you well and that you are getting ready for the start of the club season.

Launch of Club Lotto!

I want to start the newsletter by announcing the launch of the Club Lotto! This is not only a great way to win some cash (especially as there are only a few participants for the first week), but also a way to support St. Vincent’s.

We are delighted to announce that the grand prize of the Lotto is €3,000 and if it is not won, there will be a weekly winner of the €20 prize.

The first draw is this Friday, October 2nd, and there will be a draw every Friday!

You can buy tickets here. Tickets can be recurring, meaning you can enter every draw! Make sure you get your tickets!

Super League Launch!

This is a specific newsletter to announce the start of the Super League season! Our first game is less than a week away, on Saturday 3rd of October, at 8pm in St. Vincent’s.

We are very excited for the start of the season, and are looking forward to seeing all the hard pre-season work put into action.

Our team this year is looking strong! We have a number of players coming back to the team including our point guard duo of James Phelan and Dorian Lagoyette who lit up the league in the second half of last season with their intensity and passion.

Eoin McCann joins the team for another season and looks in great shape after a full pre-season. He is the veteran in the team alongside team captain Conor Gilligan who returned to the squad last season after being abroad for a number of years. We are delighted to also welcome back Denzel Ebose who will play his 4th season with Vincent’s. Adam Tynan and Joel Muteba return to the squad, bringing much needed youth and energy.

We are delighted that St. Vincent’s are able to bring through high-quality, locally grown talent. This year Eoin Lewis rejoined the club after returning from the United States. He joins the team alongside Sean Moran, David Dowling and Julek Kijak. Nazar Sykal, originally from Ukraine, has transferred into the squad from St. Declan’s and we look forward to him playing with the club at U20 and Superleague level.

We are very excited to announce this year’s new signings! The coaching team has put a lot of work and patience into selecting the right players for the team this year. Irish guard Adam Mullally joins us for the year after playing professional 3x3 in Spain last season. Scottie Stone from Melrose, Minnesota joined us in August after an amazing season in Germany, and previously in high-level leagues in Australia and Ecuador. He is joined by 6'8" forward Lawrence Slim from Amsterdam, Netherlands who enjoyed two successful seasons in Greece. We look forward to his physicality on the court. The final signing of the year is the big man: 7 footer Kingsley Nwagboso has just joined the team and is the final piece of the puzzle. You may remember him from the 2023-2024 season when he played for UCC Demons. Since then he has played in Oman, Belize and the Portuguese first division. We hope these four additions can complement our homegrown talent.

Make sure you join us on Saturday night from 7pm for the big opener against newly promoted Limerick Sports Eagles!

Ticketing

It is the club’s goal to make sure that as many people can watch and play Super League as possible. We need to recognise that for the club to be successful and the team sustainable, everyone must view the Super League as a business. We are not a profit-driven club, and every cent we make is reinvested in the club. To ensure success, we have to be strict this season on our ticket sales. There is a cost to hosting every game in St. Vincent’s, and it is our target that the ticket sales on the night cover that cost! With this in mind, the ticket costs for this year for home and away supporters are:

Adult: €12
Student: €9 (with presentation of student card)
U18: €6

You can also purchase a season ticket, which gives you access to all home games (including cup). Purchasing a season ticket offers you savings across the season, but also provides the club with up-front funds. You can buy tickets on the night at the door, or in advance by emailing chair@stvincentsbc.ie.

The season ticket prices are:

Adult: €110 (save minimum of €22)
Student: €80 (save minimum of €19) (with presentation of student card)
U18: €50 (save minimum of €16)
